Shortly after the move, the Texans renamed the Kansas City Chiefs. This name was chosen, like many other names in the NFL, through a contest, and is a tribute to Harold Bertle, the former mayor of the city, who was also known as \u201cThe Chief\u201d, as found a Native American community within the Boy Scout Organization of America known as \u201cThe Tribe of Mic-O-Say\u201d.<\/p>\n
